I’m thankful for becoming a wife.

WOW! Huge steps that I would never change

May 1983, I graduated high school, became a wife, moved away from home out of state, started a home in a one bedroom furnished apartment with my husband in Killeen Texas (outside of Ft Hood) and started college.

Life was great. Did challenges happen of course, right along with this great journey the U.S. Army “forgot” to pay Mark for living off base for 2 months. Oh yes, we had to do some tight budgeting, but we didn’t care.

We had each other and that is all we needed.

We shared and celebrated as we conquered the beginning of our new lives together.
